Which type of Marketing Champion are you?
Connections is Salesforce's premiere 2-day event for digital marketers at McCormick Place in Chicago. We partnered with General Mills, a Marketing Cloud customer, to build a branded experience driving traffic to our demo stations. So we asked for Wheaties, and they said yes.
HOW IT WORKED:
Attendees scan their badge for a 10-question "marketing personality quiz," receiving one of 5 "Marketing Personalities" - creatively titled versions of Brandy the Fox tailored to key buyer personas. They get an email with role-specific content, directions to targeted demo stations, then step into a photo booth for a digital GIF of themselves on a Wheaties box. Finally, they receive a pin with their Personality type.
Five giant custom Wheaties boxes surrounded the space, each tailored to a Personality type with everything from back-of-the-box fun to custom nutritional facts.
General Mills loved it so much, they now use it for their internal company events.
